At 7:00 p.m. February 6th, local time, the Confucius Institute at the University of Valencia held the sixth part of “Inviting You to Celebrate Chinese New Year with Us” ---Handmade Chinese lantern activity. This activity is also the last one of the Chinese New Year’s series activities, appealed many Chinese culture lovers to come positively. Mr. An Wenlong, the director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Valencia, delivered a speech and the activity began.

The host teacher of this activity is Yang Dan. Before making Chinese lantern, teacher Yang played an interesting video of Chinese lantern. And then, accompanied by exquisite PPT, teacher Yang introduced how to make lanterns. Everyone was deeply attracted. In the meanwhile, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Valencia Gao Hongbo with other teachers handed out the material package to everyone and helped them make the lantern. During the activity, Director An Wenlong, led volunteer teachers to distribute Confucius Institute's exquisite New Year calendars and magazines, and introduced the New Year culture to everyone. The attenders made the lantern with great interest, then the delicate lanterns were gradually finished. At the end of the activity, everyone took photos with their own lanterns, all of them were joyful and excited. The colorful Chinese culture has quietly entered everyone's mind.
