Confucius Institute of Victoria University at Wellington Hosts "The Third‘China Crossing' Concert in 2019"

On October 18th, "The third‘China crossing'concert in 2019", co-organized by the Confucius institute at Victoria university at Wellington, Zhejiang music college and New Zealand music college, was held at Hunter Council Chambe. The concert by the New Zealand Chinese composers, New Zealand composer association, member of the zhejiang academy of music composing, Yancheng, professor, master tutor ShenNa as project planning and art director, Director of Confucius institute Mrs. Adele Bryant hosted the concert, this concert also invited outstanding young pipa performer Li Luo and youth, nguyen performers Ja Zhenzhen, bringing a folk music feast for Newzealanders, and getting full of national characteristics of the concert for the audience's consistent high praise.


Pipa teacher Li Luo brought a pipa solo "House of Flying Daggers" and "The Three Caprices", including "Three Caprices" by Joe gorman in "2017" first across China after the concert, for the pipa, a solo work combines western composing techniques and the techniques of Chinese instrumental music pipa's adopted by 1/4 microtone two tuning of pure five degrees, received a special form of sound and music.

Also from the Chinese music department of zhejiang music college, liu qin, ruan professional teacher Jia Zhenzhen brought ruan solo in "camel bell of the silk road" and liu qin solo in "sword" for new zealanders. Full of ethnic flavor of the program, ethnic instruments out of the ordinary timbre, the performer surprised the audience playing, let the audience infatuating.
