Activity scene

A large crowd were waiting for the event even before it began. As the mooncakes and the Chinese tea were well-prepared, the activity started officially. Mr. Vicente Andrew (An Wenlong), the director of the Confucius Institute, introduced the Mid-Autumn Festival in passion and delivered his best wishes to the audiences. The Confucius Institute staff in the Chinese Cheongsam, the sweet mooncakes, the warm Chinese tea and the Confucius Institute periodicals, all inspired the public's enthusiasm to participate in the celebration. Then, accompanied by the soft Chinese classical music, they tasted the mooncakes, drank the tea, read the Confucius Institute periodicals, took photos with the staff and asked every detail on the Mid-Autumn Festival and the courses of Chinese language as well. The warmly participation of many local overseas Chinese pushed the celebration to a climax.
