Students from Yuille Park Community College Experience Traditional Chinese Culture at Confucius Classroom at Mount Clear College

On August 12th, seven students from Yuille Park Community College, led by Josh Bromley-Lynch, came to the Confucius Classroom at Mount Clear College to experience the Chinese culture. Jenny Bromley, Vice-Principal of Mount Clear College and Director of the Confucius Classroom, and Jijun Yang, Chinese Director of the Confucius Classroom, expressed their warm welcome to all the students and Josh.

Jijun Yang and Li Wang demonstrated and taught the students how to wrap dumplings. All of the students showed great interest and learned earnestly. When the students were tasting the cooked dumplings they wrapped by themselves, they all said: yummy, yummy!

After eating dumplings, they came to the hall of the Language Center. Jijun Yang talked about the benefits of practicing Taichi and martial arts. Then, all of them learned how to practice Taichi and martial arts. They all immersed themselves in the practice, having a great time of experiencing the traditional Chinese culture at the Confucius Classroom.

After the event, Josh invited Jijun Yang to go to Yuille Park Community College and teach more students. Jijun Yang accepted the invitation happily.
