In his speech, Li Hong pointed out that China is the first destination for ROK students studying abroad and ROK is also the first destination for Chinese students studying abroad. ROK has the most students in the world sitting for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) and the number of Confucius Institutes established in ROK is the largest in Asia, which fully show the achievements the two countries have made in educational exchanges and cooperation. In the future, cooperative universities of Confucius Institutes in China and ROK should strengthen communication and exchanges, advance consensus and cooperation, play a more important role in the cooperation in education, culture, economy, trade and other fields between the two countries, and together create a bright future for Confucius Institutes.
