Confucius Classroom at Belarusian State University of Physical Culture Performs Chinese Tea Art for President of Belarus

On February 18th, local time, the Confucius Classroom at Belarusian State University of Physical Culture performed Chinese tea art for Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus.

February 18th was the day when the elections to the 28th local councils of deputies in the Republic of Belarustook place, during which President Lukashenko visited the university to cast his vote (Belarusian State University of Physical Culture is the polling station of the area where the presidential residence of President Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko is situated) and to inspect and see various efforts made to develop the university. He was accompanied by Natalya Ivanovna Kochanova, Head of the Belarus President Administration, Igori Ivanovic, Head of the Central District of Minsk City and Sergey Borisovich Repkin, Rector of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. The Confucius Classroom at Belarusian State University of Physical Culture took this opportunity to arrange a display of Chinese tea art, and introduced and demonstrated to the President the effort the Confucius Institute has put into the promotion of Chinese language and Chinese culture in Belarus as well as the enhancement of the friendship between the two peoples.

President Lukashenko paid a visit to the tea art display zone of the Confucius Classroom to watch the performance and talked with the volunteer Chinese teachers. He also wished everyone a happy New Year and expressed that he had extended his New Year wishes to Chinese people through a video.
