Students from fifth grade led the dragon while kindergarten to second graders held hand-made firecrackers, paper lanterns and dragon masks in the parade.

Dr David O’shields, the school district superintendent, together with the student parents, teachers participated in the big event. They all enjoyed the Chinese celebration. One of the parents said his child had practiced and been excited about performing the tea ceremony in front of the whole school for the whole month.
