In spite of the fierce competition, the players gained deeper understanding of one another by striving together. It was a recurrent scene that the Chinese players coached their Namibian partners and helped them adjust to the tough contest.

When the match was over, the players and audience from both countries sang a birthday song for a Namibia player, creating a congenial atmosphere.
