Prime Minister of Georgia Visits Cultural Exhibition held by Confucius Institute at Free University of Tbilisi

On June 9th, local time, a grand ceremony for the "China-Georgia Friendship Day" and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of China-Georgia diplomatic ties was held in Rhike Park in Tbilisi. Diverse activities held by the Confucius Institute at Free University of Tbilisi had even attracted Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili of Georgia to visit and experience them.

The booth of the Confucius Institute at Free University of Tbilisi attracted a great many people with its colorful cultural activities and interesting sports events such as calligraphy, Chinese painting, mask-painting, tug of war, shuttlecock kicking and Chinese knots.

Accompanied by Ji Yanchi, Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, the prime minister paid a visit to the institute’s booth to take a closer look and gain more understanding about Chinese culture. Teachers at the Confucius Institute elaborately wrote down the Chinese name for the prime minister and presented him with gifts.
