In the library, when Ji Bingxuan saw the series books of Lao Zi, he asked whether the students could understand this ancient masterpiece or not. Huang Ping, a teacher of the institute, said that as teachers would introduce the cultural knowledge behind the thoughts of Lao Zi, Zhuang Zi, Confucius and Mencius in the teaching and the books are Chinese-French bilingual, students are able to understand them.

Ji Bingxuan and others also visited classrooms of the institute, where they repeatedly sang praises of the welcome words and the drawings of national flags of China and Togo on the blackboard. When seeing the students practicing calligraphy, he wrote an inscription for the Confucius Institute with a writing brush.
