Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia visits Confucius Institute Headquarters
On November 4, Ma Jianfei, Deputy Chief Executive of Confucius Institute Headquarters, met with a delegation headed by Slim Khalbous, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia, and Dhia Khaled, Tunisian Ambassador to China.
Minister Slim Khalbous noted that the Tunisian government hoped to host Confucius Institutes at Tunisian universities at an early date, so as to satisfy the eager desire of Tunisian students in learning Chinese and promote exchanges between Tunisian and Chinese universities.

Ma Jianfei stated that Confucius Institute Headquarters would take active measures to drive forward the establishment of Confucius Institutes in Tunisia. He hoped that Confucius Institutes would serve as a platform for exchange and cooperation in educational, cultural, economic and business fields between China and Tunisia and contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between Tunisian and Chinese people.
