Prime Minister of Montenegro greets Chinese language teachers and commends its Confucius Institute for settling in Science-Technology Park and Innovative-Entrepreneurial Center
On September 17th, local time, the inauguration ceremony for the Montenegro Science-Technology Park and Innovative-Entrepreneurial Center was held in Nikšić. Approximately 100 people attended this event, including Mr. Milo Đukanović, Prime Minister of Montenegro; Ms. Sanja Vlahović, Minister of Science; representatives of teachers from the Confucius Institute at University of Montenegro and guests from various sectors of the local society.

During the event, Prime Minister Milo Đukanović cordially met with the representatives of teachers from the Confucius Institute at University of Montenegro and spoke highly of the cultural exchanges conducted by the Confucius Institute.

Speaking at the event, Minister Sanja Vlahović extended her warm welcome to the delegation of the Confucius Institute. She noted that the cooperation between the Confucius Institute and the Science-Technology Park provided a window for local enterprises to understand and take a closer look at China in a direct and effective manner. A teacher representative from the Confucius Institute presented books on Chinese culture and history to Prime Minister Milo Đukanović and Minister of Science Sanja Vlahović.
Confucius Institute at University of Montenegro opening an office in the Science-Technology Park
It is learned that the Confucius Institute at University of Montenegro reached an agreement with the Park in the first half of this year, becoming one of the first batch institutions settling in the Park. The Confucius Institute will set up an office and a Chinese culture base in the Innovation Center, which aims to offer business Chinese courses to employees there, hold such activities as joint lectures and Science Day events, and gradually cover all circles of the society including local primary and secondary schools.
