Draper Elementary School is one of the earliest eight Utah public schools that established Chinese Immersion Programs. The school has a history of 37 years with 690 registered students at present, among which 300 students are on the grade 1-5 Chinese Immersion Program. Draper Elementary School is widely considered as a top school with highly ranked exam results compared with other Utah public schools. It is expected that, with the establishment of the Confucius Classroom at Draper Elementary School, the school will welcome more Chinese cultural activities and Chinese artwork exhibitions.

After the ceremony, a fantastic Chinese acrobat show was staged by the Beijing Acrobat Troup, which won many rounds of applause from the teachers and students. The Confucius Classroom has become a channel of promoting Chinese culture and a bridge connecting Chinese culture with American communities.
