The young contestants of this competition completed their paintings either as a group or individually in their spare time. They painted China in their hearts that was different but amazingly beautiful by fully exercising their imagination and painting skills and integrating them with their understanding of China, the Chinese language and Chinese culture they had learned in class. Although they may not have been to China, they could still manifest through the paintings their longings for China, curiosity towards the world, desire for knowledge and beautiful wishes.
