During the summer camp, Chinese language courses were taught in the morning, and cultural experience activities were held in the afternoon. The University arranged a series of activities for camp members to experience Chinese culture, including practicing calligraphy, performing Taijiquan, carving seals, and making dumplings. Students showed great enthusiasm and interest in the activities which combined education with recreation. On weekends, the University, while taking measures to guarantee the safety of students, organized them to visit many famous places of interest in Beijing, including the China Exploratorium of Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban). They also visited the Ancient Cultural Street and museums in Tianjin, tasted delicious food there, and experienced the unique charm of Tianjin culture.

Although the summer camp was short, its elaborate language courses and colorful cultural activities gave students an unforgettable time and helped them establish a deep friendship with teachers and volunteers. This sincere friendship between China and France will become a bridge for exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and French teachers and students.
