“Chinese Wellbeing” workshops included martial arts, Taichi, five-animal movement and traditional massage. The first three were for the students and let them learn about how to keep fit and healthy thorough “wisdom of Chinese wellbeing”. During the workshop on martial arts and Taichi, students were so amazed by teacher’s movement demonstration and eager to participate in the interaction, hoping to get the professional guidance. Teachers corrected their movements and explained in details the importance of each movement to the health. Besides, students were fascinated about the five-animal movement and asked lots of interesting questions. With great interest, students imitated the movements of tiger, monkey, crane, deer and panda. They also expressed that they would go on practicing afterschool and teach their family members and friends what they learnt in the workshops.

Then, doctors from CITCM did Chinese medical massage to teachers at the acupuncture points on the head, neck and back. It is encouraging to receive the favorable response to the series activities. They all agreed that the magical power of Chinese massage kept them away and relaxed from busy work as well as raising the awareness of wellbeing.
