Chinese Premier Li Keqiang talks with Chinese language teachers and volunteers in Thailand.

On the morning of October 13, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang paid a visit to Chongfah Sinseung Wanich Bamrung School in Chiang Mai. He met with the representatives of Chinese language teachers and volunteers of Hanban and kindly inquired about their work and living conditions.

Premier Li Keqiang said to the teachers and volunteers present, “First of all, I want to thank you all. As Chinese language teachers or volunteers, you should be very proud of what you do since you are doing an admirable job. To be a volunteer is noble enough, but to be a volunteer teacher is even nobler since teaching itself is already the noblest career under the sun, and I want to pay high tribute to your hard work. Remember, we care about you all. I hope you can also take good care of yourselves and better help smooth the friendly exchanges between China and Thailand and between the two peoples. If you meet problems you are not able to solve, please report them to the related department. We will help you solve all of them.”

During Premier Li Keqiang’s visit to Thailand, 46 volunteers, managerial teachers and Chinese government dispatched teachers participated in the reception. Responsible and dutiful, all of them successfully accomplished all the tasks and their work was well-received.
