Amman,April 20th, 2013 - The Confucius Institute at Philadelphia University, Jordan held the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), a Chinese proficiency test, and its first HSKK (an oral Chinese proficiency level test) (Intermediate). Three examinees took the HSK Level 3, 5 took the Level 4, 2 took the Level 5, and 12 took the HSKK (Intermediate).

Adhering to the principle of early preparation, the Confucius Institute fully planned for the tests. They developed the plan in advance, created the test plan, considered the issues related to test transportation and examination room arrangement, provided strict training on examination administration for the supervisors, set up the recording and playing equipment specially provided for the test, and repeatedly conducted the inspection, debugging and simulation recordings. The Confucius Institute also prepared guidance on oral test recording for the HSKK examinees so that the students could gain a detailed understanding of the test process, type of test questions and recording method before the test. Due to such full preparations, the 5 examination rooms were in good order and the test went on smoothly.
