Through this training, the participants learned new ideas about teaching, got broadened outlook of studies. For instance, the attendees were very much inspired by the issues discussed such as how to increase the fun of teaching, overcome the shortage of textbooks, and how to make the Chinese culture understood better by cultural comparison. They hoped the Confucius Institute at METU could organize more activities like this in the future. The attendance and the enthusiastic speech of Mr. Yu Jian, Cultural Attache of the Chinese Embassy in Turkey, and the involvement of the two journalists from main Chinese news agency (Xinhua News Agency and China Radio International) added a special highlight to the training program.
