CIUA organizes job fair for mandarin speakers
On September 8, 2011, Confucius Institute at University of Antananarivo (CIUA) organized a job fair for mandarin speakers in Malagasy capital Antananarivo.
All together 50 job hunters, including first cohort of graduates of mandarin program, intensive mandarin course participants from CIUA, and graduates retuned from studies in China participated in the fair. Fifteen local Chinese-funded enterprises joined in the fair to recruit mandarin interpreters and managers.
The recent years have witnessed rapid economic and trade growth between China and Madagascar. China has now become a most important economic partner of Madagascar. The rapid economic and trade relations between the two nations have brought huge demand for mandarin talents and enormous market for Confucius Institute. CIUA organizes this event in an effort to bridge job hunters and employers.
