Another Business Chinese Class opened
in Confucius Institute at UNZA

July 26 is the first anniversary for Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia. On this jubilant occasion, the Confucius Institute opened another new class. At 17:30, a simple and grand opening ceremony was held in Goldmen Insurance Company. Chinese Director, Mrs. He Yi delivered a speech, introducing the project and Confucius Institute’s teaching and cultural activities. This is the second Business Chinese Class after the successful one in Investrust Bank, also the first class for insurance company.

Goldmen Insurance Company is an influential and large-scale company in Zambia. There are an increasing number of Chinese enterprises and individuals taking out insurance here. The manager is deeply aware of the importance of learning Chinese. By mutual negotiation, an agreement has been reached that we provide a tow-hour-language-class from Monday to Friday, meanwhile teach them Chinese martial arts.

Chinese Director, Mrs. He Yi teaches Chinese language in person; Mr. Wang Jinzhong teaches Chinese martial arts. All of the 12 staff attended this class, including the manager.
