On the evening of December 2nd, the Confucius Classroom at Suankularb Wittayalai School was invited to attend the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce Centennial Celebration. A quality program called ‘The Eighteen Disciples of the Buddha ‘ presented by the Confucius Institute was subject of favorable comments from guests.

 

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce, grand celebration activities were hosted by the Commerce at Muang Thong Thani International Exhibition Center of Bangkok. More than 4,000 Chinese and Thai people from all walks of life were in attendance at the event in celebration of the Commerce’s 100th birthday. Honorary guests, including His Excellency Abhisit, Prime Minister of Thailand, Guan Mu, Chinese Ambassador to Thailand and Ren Qiliang, Deputy Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, were in attendance at the event, gave speeches and watched the performance.

The Confucius Classroom at Suankularb Wittayalai School was invited to attend the ceremonial performance. ‘The Eighteen Disciples of the Buddha ‘ featuring novel concepts and elegant dances, once again won critical acclaim and commendations from Chinese and Thai guests and friends from all walks of life.

It is said that ‘The Eighteen Disciples of the Buddha ‘ as a quality show of talent by the Confucius Classroom at Suankularb Wittayalai School has been commissioned by 7 consecutive large-scale events.
