Book Exhibition Successfully Held by the Confucius Institute at the University of Texas Dallas (UTD)

Texas, July 23rd – Book Exhibition held by UTD Confucius Institute in the university’s show hall displayed over one thousand books offered by the Confucius Institute Headquarters and attracted plenty of Chinese language fans and experts. Various kinds of books on Chinese culture and Chinese teaching materials at different levels fascinated each teacher and student. During the exhibition, the Confucius Institute at UTD specially invited Zheng Yanqun, professor with Beijing Language and Culture University, to introduce the layout styles and features of some of the teaching materials displayed. At the end of the exhibition, gift books were given and lucky draw took place and each visitor got an Everyday Chinese book as a gift.

More book exhibitions are to be organized by the Confucius at UTD at the sub-Confucius Classroom after the autumn term begins.
