Ai Hongge, educational counselor from the Chinese Embassy in South Korea delivering a lecture on “Experiencing China”

South Korea, June, 9th, 2010 – Ai Hongge, Educational Counselor from the Chinese Embassy in South Korea was invited to the School of International Business to give a lecture on “Experiencing China” for over 450 students.

Counselor Ai Hongge delivered a speech on the topic of the great changes which have happened in the fields of economics and education since China’s Opening up Policy was implemented, as well as the relationship between China and South Korea. Counselor Ai Hongge said that both China and South Korea share the same Confucian Philosophy and have a profound history in exchange with one another. Overseas students from China and South Korea are the future of two countries. They will play an important role in promoting a strategic partnership between China and South Korea.

Students appeared to benefit a great deal from the lecture. They said that they had gained deeper understanding of the development of China as well as the relationship between China and South Korea. Through the lecture they came to a deep understanding of the importance of learning Chinese.

Counselor Ai Hongge then held talks with the institute’s teachers, volunteers and members so as to get to know more about their living and working conditions. On behalf of the Chinese Embassy, he expressed his regards to them.
