The Chinese Embassy in Mongolia Holds a Spring Festival Party for Volunteer Chinese Teachers
On February 17th, the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia held a Spring Festival party for volunteer Chinese teachers. Officials at the embassy, volunteer Chinese teachers, visiting experts in Mongolia and overseas students were present at the party.
In his New Year message, Ambassador Yu Hongyao thanked the volunteers for their efforts in; improving the Chinese level of Mongolian students, promoting cultural cooperation between China and Mongolia, and strengthening the friendship between the two peoples. The ambassador also encouraged the volunteers to keep forging onwards and making contributions towards the promotion of mutual understanding between the two peoples, as well as the development of the relations between the two countries. He expressed that the embassy would continue to help and support the volunteers, and wished them and their families a healthy and happy Year of the Tiger.
At the party, the volunteers and officials gave performances. The songs “Father’s Meadow Mother’s River” and “Love” by the volunteers pushed the party to a climax. Throughout the activity a cheerful and festive atmosphere prevailed. The volunteers said that the party had made them feel at home and they would continue to contribute to the relations between the two countries and as well as the cause of Chinese teaching in Mongolia.
