Slovenian China Ambassador Visits Hanban

February, 4, 2010 –Mrs. Marija Adanja, Slovenian China Ambassador visited Hanban. Madame Xu Lin, Director-General of Hanban held talks with Mrs. Marija Adanja concerning the establishment of the Confucius Institute at University of Ljubljana.

Mrs. Marija Adanja gave an introduction to the state of Chinese teaching in Slovenia. She hopes that Hanban will dispatch more Chinese teachers to undertake Chinese teaching positions at the university in order to satisfy requirements for Chinese language ability in those of the fields of economics and trade.

Madame Xu Lin expressed approval and encouraged more Slovenian students to study in China as well as participate in the Chinese Bridge - Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students organized by Hanban.
