Kefyalew Azeze, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa Visits Addis Ababa Confucius Institute

January, 20, 2010 – Together with director of the vocational education bureau and health bureau, Kefyalew Azeze, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa visits the Addis Ababa Confucius Institute.

Lu Shuangying, President of the Ethiopia-China Polytechnic College and Zhai Fengjie, Director of the Confucius institute introduced evaluations of two schools. Deputy Mayor Kefyalew Azeze spoke approvingly of their efforts in providing Chinese teaching to Ethiopian students. He also expressed his appreciation to the Chinese government for their support of Chinese teaching.

After the meeting, the delegation headed by Deputy Mayor Kefyalew Azeze visited Ethiopia-China Polytechnic College and the Confucius institute. They express hopes that the institute will provide more Chinese training and cultural experience activities in order that increasing numbers of Ethiopians further understand Chinese culture and language.
