2010 College Board-Hanban Chinese Guest Teacher program is now open for application (Application Form Attached)

In order to support American primary and secondary schools in offering Chinese language and culture courses, Hanban and the American College Board have come to an agreement on joint selection of Chinese guest teachers for American schools in 2010. Hanban will entrust the relevant foreign affairs offices in provincial and municipal education departments (commissions) in taking charge of the registration, primary election work and recommendation of qualified applicants. Please contact relevant foreign affairs offices of provincial and municipal education departments (commissions) for questions related to the program. Hanban will not accept direct personal applications.

As for the application process, Hanban will inform relevant foreign affairs offices of provincial and municipal education departments (commissions) in parallel to publishing the latest updates online.

Provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions involved in the program include:

Tianjin, Chongqing, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Shaanxi, Gansu, Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Fujian and Hainan.
